November Lunch & Learn Speaker
Greetings Everyone!
The Mellon Heritage Foundation will be offering our November “Lunch & Learn” speaker series, next Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Ridge Building aboard the Mellon Veterans Outreach Campus (MVOC). All Veterans and their guests are invited to lunch at 11:30 a.m.
At noon, Mark Squeglia will give a presentation on Colonel John Richard Boyd. John Richard Boyd was a United States Air Force fighter pilot and Pentagon consultant during the second half of the 20th century. His theories have been highly influential in military, business, and litigation strategies and planning.
Mark Squeglia is a lifelong Erie resident. He graduated from Cathedral Prep in 1974 and Gannon College in 1979 with a BA in history. After working for several companies located in Erie, he is now retired. He has served as Board Chair and interim Executive Director for the Hagen History Center and he has been a lecturer for the Jefferson Educational Society since 2010. He was a member of the Perry 200 Commission and currently serves on the boards of the Oliver Hazard Perry Shipyard and the Erie Torch Club.
If you can, please let Tina know if you plan to attend by email (mvocannouncements@gmail.com or call/text at 814-881-9215). This will help us ensure we have enough food on-hand for lunch; however, RSVPs are not mandatory.
