Slightly lighter fabric makes the Gildan Heavy Cotton t-shirt a family favorite! Made out of 5.3 oz., 100% cotton preshrunk jersey knit, the Gildan heavy cotton shirt retains its size and style after washing, and makes it easy to print on.

Compared to Ultra Cotton, Heavy Cotton’s 5.3 oz. is a little lighter than Ultra Cotton’s 6.0 oz. Ultra Cotton is also a slightly softer material because the cotton is thicker and heavier and spun tighter. Even their labels are different! Ultra Cotton has a satin label, whereas Heavy Cotton has a tearable label. The heavy cotton sizing ranges from S to 3XL, while the ultra cotton sizing runs from S to 3XL.
